Puppies at Christmas

Domino, would like to ask everyone who is considering a puppy for a present to remember that is is a big committment. Christmas time is a busy time and is not the best time to bring a puppy into your home. The most important thing to remember is to match the dogs energy with the family. Don't get caught up in the cuteness of the puppy because it does not last very long.

Puppies in Pet Shops and Online Websites hide a dark secret. All of the breeding dogs that are kept in Puppy Mills will never had a good home. They will only know pain and misery. Their only job is to mass produce puppies for the public. Many are inbred, sick or have genetic defects. It is a multi million dollar business and every time a puppy is bought at a Pet Shop or Online website or newspaper ad the cycle of abuse continues to thrive.

Please don't buy a puppy from these places. There are millions of dogs and cats in need of a home. It is a matter of life and death for so many. Please don't be a part of the cycle of abuse. The only way it will end to put them out of business! Save a life don't shop at a Pet Store Newspaper Ad or Online Website. It is up to us!

Please don't shop at a Pet Store this Christmas

Most puppies that are sold in Pet Stores are from places that mass produce puppies. The breeding dogs are neglected, overbred and denied exercise, grooming, nutritional food and vet care. These places exist because there are so many people out there buying from Pet Shops, Online Websites, Newspaper Ads. Your decisions  to purchase from these places will allow the cycle of neglect and abuse to continue as it has for years and years. Google Puppy Mill to learn more about this hidden world of neglect and suffering.

Prop B Passes in Missouri

Can you imagine forcing your pet dog to live his or her entire life in a small wire cage with no human companionship, toys or comfort, and little hope of ever becoming part of a family? That is what life is like for a puppy mill breeding dog. Help us stop this cycle of cruelty that contributes to pet overpopulation and the suffering of countless dogs.

Prop B passed in Missouri, the Puppy Mill Capital of the United States. It will help alleviate some of the suffering in these terrible breeding places. It's amazing to me how hard it is just to pass a law to make people treat these dogs humanely. Even with this law passed people will still be out there abusing these dogs for profit.

Please remember to adopt and not shop. This is the only way we will really every get rid of these terrible places for good...

Trying to figure out what to do...

Today, I have been trying to learn more about blogging so that I can help spread the word to people about how terrible, Puppy Mills are. I have been working so hard for the past year trying to educate people. It is very overwhelming but I plan to keep trying.

WHERE IS THIS PUPPY'S MOTHER??

Breeding dogs

The female "breeder" dogs, who spend their entire lives pregnant and giving birth to litters of puppies, spend their entire time in cages, with no exercise, companionship, or veterinary care. Many of the puppies produced in these horrible places are inbred, which puts them at a higher risk for genetic defects and diseases.

What is a Puppy Mill?

Puppy Mills exist all over the US and Canada. A Puppy Mill mass produces puppies for profit. They sell their puppies to a Broker who then sells them to Pet Shops and Online Websites. The female breeding dogs will spend their entire lives pregnant or giving birth to litters. They are not allowed to leave their crowded cages, know companionship or see a veterinarian when sick or injured. Their purpose is to produce as many puppies as they can so people can purchase their puppies. People like me and you.
